1.) Your get ready room is one of the least thought of rooms when you pick your venue, but in my opinion, it is one of the most important. I think this room is important because this is where you will put your dress on for the final time and your mother will see you for the first time. Lighting is important because your makeup will look best in natural light, but do not panic if your room does not have a window because we will make adjustments to help you look stunning. I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep this space clean. It will not only look more appealing in your pictures but it will help keep you organized. Remember that you have bridesmaids to help you get ready so assign one of them to help keep the room clean.


2.)You should be the last one to get into your dress and try to do it at the last possible minute. If you are doing a first look, try and make time afterwards to head back inside and cool off. The last thing you will want is to sweat in your pictures. When you pick your venue, check to see if there will be a fan available or if you need to bring one with you.


3.) I highly recommend taking your dresses/suits out of the bag as soon as you can. This will help the wrinkles fall out before it is time to walk down the aisle.


4.) I like to get the detail shots of the wedding done as early as possible so I can spend the most of my time focusing on you. Your details can include: shoes, socks, cufflinks, ear rings, watches, necklaces, rings. If have all of these items together and in a box at the beginning, you will not have to worry about searching for stuff when you should be getting your hair done.


5.) Also remember that you need to stay hydrated. Packing an assortment of drinks and snacks make your day go a lot better when you are hangry. I hope that you find these quick tips helpful.
